Overview

Bajana is a princely state of Gujarat famous for being the Gateway to the Little Rann of Kutch, renowned for being the only habitat for the nedangered Indian Wild Ass. Around 3000 of them are a part of this Wild Ass Sanctuary, apart from Chinkara, India foxes, Nilgais, Jackals and many more.

Royal Safari Camp, Bajana, is located just across the main entrance to the Sanctuary. It is spread over in around 18 Acres of land with beautifully constructed Cottages spread around the lush landscape. Each of the 21 Cottages are made using the local stone by regional artists and thoughtfully landscaped exhibiting the local architecture. Each cottage also offers all amenities for a comfortable stay. 04 Luxury Cottages are in process of completion. These Cottages will offer larger space, more amenities and a luxurious ambiance.

The Resort also boasts of an Amphi-Theater, a thatched roof lounge, swimming pool and an activity area.

Spread over in around 18 Acres of land, Royal Safari camp is beautifully constructed by the skilful local artisans, with local red stone, each of 18 Cottages are thoughtfully landscaped in the camp which exhibits the magnificent craftsmanship, while offering you other amenities, including air conditioners, luxurious bathrooms, Satellite TVs & Intercoms essential to make your stay comfortable.

A specially created lake in the Royal Safari Camp simply adds to the serenity.
Do not forget to go Fishing in this lake. Or at the least enjoy a sit out.

Royal Safari Camp also houses a Multi-Cuisine restaurant, offering mouth-watering, delicious, authentic recipes from the region to continental cuisines. In addition to this, you can have fun playing Billiard, Loan Tennis & go Swimming.

A Conference cum Home-theatre Hall is available to do some serious business or to enjoy a movie with the family, friends or colleagues.

Wifi zone is available. Especially for those who can’t stay away from the Internet (Social Networking) and emails.

Open Amphitheatre is also available to enjoy local cultural dance programme (on request). Even the same can be used to play games and have fun.

Laundry & Doctor on Call services are available too.

Royal Safari Camp arranges Desert Jeep Safaris in the Wild Ass Sanctuary in Little Rann of Kutch, and other cultural tours of local village Bajana, which offers an opportunity to get closer to the regional artisans and their handicrafts. Birdwatching trips can be arranged at wet-land of Bajana as well as in the Little Rann of Kutch.
